How I Got 8 Years Younger (in Less Than 2 Years)

Your ability to live a lucrative life is directly correlated to your vitality and overall well-being. So today I want to share my experience with testing my health and, specifically, reversing my age.
You likely know that there’s a difference between your chronological age (how old you are) and your biological age (how old your body thinks it is).
Two years ago, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw my results… 👀
February 2022 test:
51 years old?!
“WHAT?!” (I was 43 at the time.)
“Not Optimal”
As it turns out, my mitochondria were not happy campers. 😡 But I would have never known that had I not taken this test.
I have a relatively healthy lifestyle so I attribute my extreme aging to Sean’s death. “The death of a loved one is recognized as one of life's greatest stresses and has long been associated with increased health risk, especially for the surviving spouse…”1
Grief can impact cortisol levels (stress hormones), sleep, immune function, and inflammation, as well as heart rate and blood pressure changes. Studies show that these impacts can go on for years, but I wasn’t about to let that happen. After all, I was the one who was still alive.
I tell you all of this to showcase how quickly you can change your circumstances. And I believe this is true in all areas of life: You can go from less health to more health, less love to more love, or less money to more money sooner than you’d probably imagine.
As a coach, I’m a natural problem solver. So I didn’t sit around and think, “Oh, poor me.” I figured out what I needed to do to change, and then got busy doing it. You can do the same.
If you don’t like your current results (in health, wealth, or relationships), you (and only you) have the power to change them.
Here are my follow-up results from November 2023:
In less than 2 years, I decreased my biological age by 8 years! And as of that test, I was two years younger than my chronological age.
I did NOT do any crazy workouts or diets. I simply looked at what would support my mitochondria and immune system and supplemented accordingly. (Check with your doctor before taking supplements, especially if you are on prescription medication.)
For me, part of the shift was working through the grief and part was bolstering the areas where my body could use some backup. 💪🏼
